Voter Registration Volunteer Orientation
Volunteer Orientation with the Coalition is Mandatory prior to volunteering!
Do you work at a service agency that wants to take part in our Coalition's community voter registration efforts? We encourage you to attend one of the orientations as well!
You Don't Need a House to Vote! Volunteers will be trained on the basics of helping people who are experiencing homelessness register to vote, key aspects of filling out the form without a traditional residential address, the Voting Rights Restoration Act (for people with felony convictions), and more. Volunteers will be asked to commit to at least one or two 2-3 hour volunteer shifts during our fall drive in October through election day.
Please register for training on October 10 (Thursday) or October 14 (Monday) below. Volunteers must be 18+ and trained by the Coalition to do voter registration at direct service sites.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call Hillary at (206) 204-8357 or email hillary[at]homelessinfo[dot]org. Thank you!
